Busy Professional Makes Five Figures In His Lunch Break

"Running four companies takes up a great deal of my time.  Using the property investing strategies that I teach my students, I decided to challenge myself as I had gotten used to closing an average of 4 property deals a month and was having five-figure months with my property sourcing business, which, don't get me wrong is awesome. 

My challenge was to have a five-figure day and then eventually a five-figure lunch break. I tried and tried again. What I found was that the less time I thought I had, the more creative I became. I leveraged electronic tools, templates, and scripts.  I cut down 1-hour meetings to 10 minutes with astonishing results.  

I went from working 7 days a week to a 3-day week, again with great results. What I recognised was the 80/20 rule, 20% of the work you do produces 80% of your income, so one must choose wisely what to do with the 20%.

I eventually achieved a 10k lunch break, hence www.10klunchbreak.com was born.

Here are some time-saving tips I used:

- Plan your day before the day, what 3 things must you achieve today?

- Delegate everything that you are not good at (think who could do this for me?),

- Be proactive, remember you are in charge,

- Do your most difficult task first, then the other tasks will be easier,

- Work first, then play, not the other way around,

- Say no to activities that do not produce income or waste your time (I often ask myself can I do that next week?),

- Always be ready to learn - remember, every day is a school day,

- Synergise where possible - can one task be done at the same time as another?

- Review your tasks at the end of each week and see how you can do them better next time.
